The Best Furniture Order Management Software

As a director of Cen Medya, I, Cengiz Eselioğlu, explain why we position Furnidesk as the world’s best furniture order management software, drawing on our industry experience since 2009 and real workflows from showroom to factory.

I am Cengiz Eselioğlu. Our claim for Furnidesk is clear: I believe we have built the best furniture order management software in the world, not only in Turkey. My confidence comes from the real needs we have encountered at every stage of the furniture business. Here, I want to explain in my own words what “best” means to me and why I have such confidence in Furnidesk.

Industry knowledge built since 2009

At Cen Medya, we have focused on the furniture industry since 2009. Working with leading companies in the sector has given us a close view of how orders are taken in showrooms, passed to factories and delivered to customers. Across different businesses, we came to understand recurring needs, communication gaps and the details that make operations difficult.

Furnidesk is the result of that experience and the contributions of many furniture companies. People with practical experience in almost every department—sales, management, accounting, production, delivery and after-sales service—have helped shape it. Our essential test was whether an idea could become a process that works in everyday practice.

The real test: Can a finishing craftsperson manage their own work?

The success of furniture software cannot be measured only at the salesperson’s screen. One of my key questions is whether a craftsperson responsible for lacquer finishing can open their own panel and clearly see upcoming jobs, queued work and tasks to complete.

In Furnidesk, production units see their own jobs, start and complete work, and send product-specific notes or revision requests to production managers. Completed work moves into the next unit’s workflow according to the plan’s dependencies. The journey through frame construction, painting, finishing and upholstery becomes recorded and traceable.

A furniture order contains much more than a name and a price

The same sofa may be ordered with different fabrics, a separate arm fabric or special dimension notes. Swatch-book surcharges, selection-field coefficients, set components and production attachments are all part of the actual order. A missing detail can turn an attractive quotation into an unanswered factory question.

We therefore connect products, sets, customizations and order information. Main fabric and arm fabric can have separate selection fields, with the book’s price adjustment calculated using the relevant coefficient. Notes and files are shared according to departmental access. Production acceptance can return incomplete information to sales for revision, preserving the discussion and change history.

A concrete calculation example: If a swatch book adds 30%, a main fabric field with coefficient 1 adds 30%. A separate arm fabric field with coefficient 0.3 adds 30% × 0.3 = 9% for that field.

One order story, from sale through delivery

A quotation, production job and delivery belong to the same journey. A presented product goes into the cart, is customized and becomes a quotation, then a sale with a payment plan. Accounting approval can apply according to company settings, before prepared items move through production acceptance and planning.

Orders can use available stock, in-house manufacturing, external suppliers or a combination of these methods. Delivery plans cover vehicles, stop order and loading arrangements. Delivery photographs are linked to products and customers, while after-sales service records continue the relationship beyond delivery.

What concrete criteria support our claim?

I believe a business should assess software by seeing its own processes inside it. My criteria are whether information survives the handover from sales to the factory, whether each employee can reach their own work and whether managers can see where progress is blocked. The capabilities listed below are practical ways to assess my confidence in Furnidesk.

  • Product and set structure: Manage single items and multi-part sets with category and collection relationships.
  • Fabric and pricing accuracy: Select one fabric per field and calculate price adjustments using coefficients.
  • Recorded sales processes: Track quotation versions and preserve the price snapshot of a converted sale.
  • Production responsibility: Give units their own jobs, return missing details for revision and plan internal and external production.
  • Delivery and service continuity: Link delivery plans, delivery photographs and after-sales records to products and customers.
  • Management visibility: Follow responsibilities and changes through role-based access and activity history.

From Turkey to the world: One industry, different ways of working

The language of the furniture business changes between countries, but the need for the right product, customization and delivery is shared. Furnidesk offers Turkish, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Russian interfaces. Companies choose their active and primary languages, and employees can choose their interface language.

The modular structure lets a ready-made furniture retailer, a custom manufacturer or an interior design business start with an appropriate scope. Multiple currencies, company-level tax settings, branding and custom domains, and API integrations are further parts of the foundation we have built for international use.

Assess our claim through your own business

We position Furnidesk as the world’s best furniture order management software because it was shaped with the people who do the work. Value emerges when a sales adviser, production manager and finishing craftsperson can meet their different needs around the same order.

I invite you to test this claim with your own workflow: quote a sofa with fabric choices, send it to production, follow a revision, plan delivery and open a service record afterwards. Decide what the best furniture order management software should be by seeing it operate within your business.

Our ambition is bold and its foundation is concrete: Cen Medya’s focus on furniture since 2009 and the contributions of people inside the industry. We design Furnidesk to manage an order’s entire lifecycle.
